Who we are
Aido is operated by Aapo Foundation in Victoria, Australia. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We collect your email address for sign-in and billing. We collect your questions and any uploaded photos or documents. We collect basic technical metadata, including IP address, browser, and request times. Stripe sends us payment metadata. We never see or store your card details.
Why we collect it
We use this information to run Aido and return answers. We use Stripe to bill you. We use technical data for rate limits, security, and abuse checks. We may review aggregate or anonymised query patterns to improve quality.
Who we share data with
We share data with service providers that operate Aido: Stripe, Resend, Vercel, Neon, Upstash, xAI, Anthropic, and OpenAI. They may process data only to provide the service. We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising.
Where it's stored
Personal data is stored in Neon Postgres, currently in US regions. We may move data to Australian regions as Aido matures. LLM providers may process queries in their own jurisdictions. Uploaded documents are sent only where needed to answer your request.
How long we keep it
We keep account and query data while your subscription is active. After cancellation, we usually keep it for 90 days. We then delete or anonymise it. We keep billing records for five years, as Australian tax law requires.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@campaignlaunch.com.au. Deletion may be limited where we have legal obligations to retain records (e.g., tax invoices).
Security
We use HTTPS, HttpOnly session cookies, rate limits, and pinned third-party provider versions. We will notify affected users of notifiable data breaches under the Privacy Act.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy; material changes will be notified by email or via the website at least fourteen days before they take effect. Questions: hello@campaignlaunch.com.au.
